There is no state plan in place to specifically assist with mortgage payments, however the governor has ordered the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation to suspend foreclosures and evictions. The order also authorizes mortgage servicers "to grant forbearance to homeowners suffering financial hardship due to this shutdown."
