Question Mark
Will I get a break on my student loan payments if I lose my job due to coronavirus?
The CARES Act which was signed into law on March 27, 2020 will provide federal student loan relief to borrowers. Between March 13, 2020 and September 30, 2020, federal student loan borrowers' will be placed in an administrative forbearance and therefore will not have to make payments. If you choose to, you can still make payments. For more details, visit the U.S. Department of Education's Federal Student Aid website.
