There does not appear to be a statewide moratorium on foreclosures in Michigan, however limiting courts to essential functions has the effect of slowing the foreclosure process for homeowners. In addition, borrowers with federally-guaranteed mortgages may qualify for forbearance. Other lenders are also offering deferments for borrowers affected by the pandemic. Contact your lender to see what assistance is available to you. In the event you still need help, Step Forward Michigan may be able to assist you.
