Library History

Originally built in 1911 with funds from the Carnegie Library Grants, Sunnyside became affiliated with the Yakima Valley Regional Library in 1956. A new facility was built in 1965, and in 2004, the Sunnyside Library as annexed to the Yakima Valley Rural Library District.

In 2015, the Sunnyside Library underwent a major remodel, bringing it to the facility it is today.
