Sperry Library

History:

In September of 1999, the library closed for a major renovation possible through a successful 1998 Library Bond Issue election. Magnum Construction Company was selected as the contractor. The renovation provided a new entrance, an expanded periodical reading area, a computer center, and new, bright colorful floor tile and color scheme throughout the library. The library has 6 computers, which are available for customers to access the Internet and a variety of online research tools.

The Sperry Friends of the Library continue to meet on a monthly basis on the second Tuesday of the month at eleven o'clock. This group supports the library with donations of time and money. Thanks to this group the Sperry community enjoys enhanced library services.
