About Us
At 1,250 square feet, Felton is physically the smallest of the branches, except the Bookmobile. Despite its size, the library boasts a collection of more than 22,000 books, videos, books on tape, and other items. Items held by other branches in the system may be searched and requested through the online public access catalog. Felton receives approximately 47 periodical titles and has access to a searchable online database of magazine articles, many available in full-text. The branch also provides Internet access terminals to put "the world at your fingertips."
The Felton Branch building, originally a Presbyterian Church, was built in 1893. After 63 years as a church, it opened as the Faye G. Belardi Memorial Library in April, 1956. The structure was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
