Mission

Roles of the Ossian Public Library are:

Primary- Primary materials center

Preschool door to learning

Secondary- Formal Education Support

Most small town libraries are popular materials centers. We offer year round story hour for preschoolers. In support of formal education we offer the summer library program, and are also readily available to public, parochial and preschools.
Ossian Public Library purchases, organizes, and makes available books and other printed materials, computers, recorded and filmed materials. These are to stimulate interest, and give guidance in their free use to everyone in the communty and surrounding areas- regardless of age, sex, race, and creed, social, economic or educational levels.
