Mountain Life Museum

The 1906 Mock House stands on the 1.8-acre site Union County Mountain Life Museum in downtown Blairsville, located just a block south of the Old Courthouse. Donated to the Historical Society in 1994, the house has now been restored. Its expansive lawn is the location for several events: Labor Day Weekend is Mountain Heritage & Marketplace Festival which celebrates the history, lifeways, and folk traditions of this mountain community. The site includes two 1800's log cabins and several historic farm structures.
