La Porte Branch Library

The LaPorte Library is a joint venture between the City of La Porte and Harris County. The City of La Porte is responsible for the building and furnishings and Harris County Library System staffs and runs the Library.

LaPorte has a small but active group of Friends of the La Porte Library who sponsor the annual Summer Reading Program as well as providing books and other materials for the Library.
