My brand of realism is a combination of conveying emotion with a sense of finding oneself within the painting. Relying on dramatic light and shadow combined with rich color and accurate detail, I infuse my work with the sense of wonder I felt when first witnessing or envisioning the scene. 

Currently, I am studying tonalism and you can follow my progress on my blog. 

In 2015 I began painting in tonalism style for some of my works. I love it; it's so different from realism. I shall do both, from here on out.

In 2013, I created a series of Ecoactive paintings with the intent to both express my personal concern for the environment, and to spread the word to my followers.
