Friend Of The Syosset Public Library

The Friends is a not-for-profit volunteer group of residents, formed in March 2005, dedicated to furthering community awareness of the functions, resources, services and needs of the library. One of the major purposes of the Friends is to raise funds for library materials, equipment and supplies that cannot be purchased through the library's regular operating budget. Your membership dues and other fund raising activities and programs sponsored by the Friends will assist us in reaching our goals. Everyone gains when you become a member of the Friends. Your dues, along with contributions from businesses and corporations, will strengthen the position and visibility of the library in the community and help broaden the base of its initiatives and functions. As residents of our community we actively encourage everyone to join the Friends so we can assist in supporting our library, which continues to be recognized as one of the finest in Nassau County.
