Eastwood Branch Library

The Eastwood Branch is the brainchild of Jack Bulow who was the associate director of BPL at the time. It was his idea to have a branch in a mall and merchandise it like a bookstore. He convinced the director and the library board to establish a branch at the Eastwood Mall, the southeast's first enclosed mall. Opened in 1982, the Eastwood Branch has consistently had high circulation as a popular materials library.
