Crossville Public Library

Mission: 

The mission of the Crossville Public Library is to provide quality recreational and informational services to the area surrounding Crossville, Alabama and lower DeKalb County.

Library services include, but are not limited to, providing a current and diverse library collection that includes 8,000 fiction and non-fiction books, videos and recorded books. The Library provides cable modem Internet access at two public computer stations.

Specialty areas include large print books and bilingual children's books. The Library supports the Accelerated Reader Program, based in the Crossville Elementary School, providing a selection of ARP titles, testing facilities and a summer reading program. Outreach services are provided to three Head Start Programs and the Crossville Nursing Home.
