Birthplace of Kermit The Frog

Everyone is invited to join the celebration with a visit to Leland where Jim spent his formative years developing his creativity and love of nature on the banks of beautiful Deer Creek - the birthplace of Kermit the Frog.

The Jim Henson Delta Boyhood Exhibit was given by Jane Henson and The Jim Henson Legacy as a gift to the Leland people. The Birthplace of the Frog tableau honors Kermit's beginnings on the banks of Deer Creek.
