Bella Vista Public Library

Permission was granted to Lila Wylie at the April, 1981 meeting of the Property Owners' Association Board to form a Bella Vista Library. The Library Board would organize the donated books in the reading room at Riordan Hall, establish a check-out system to replace the informal sign-out sheet, as well as purchase new books. Friends of the Library was organized under the temporary chairmanship of Lila Wylie and secretary, Helen Morton. Friends of the Library was incorporated as a non-profit incorporation to serve as a support group.
