Assumption Public Library

Mission Statement :

The Assumption Public Library District exists to assemble, preserve and administer books and related education material to the residents and students within the district. Special emphasis is placed on local history to help preserve the past and present of the community. The Library also keeps abreast of popular cultural and social trends as to strive to have on hand the materials that patrons want access too. In addition, the Library provides meeting space for local organizations and other residents of the district so that members of the community may interact and meet to discuss issues that are important to the continued growth of the community and the surrounding area.
