The Arvada Library, part of Jefferson County's 10-library system will bring a full range of programs and services to south Arvada - a community that until now did not have the same level of library service found in the rest of Jefferson County.

The library offers many firsts in Jefferson County: the first multi-story library, urban library, self-service model, dedicated teen area integrated into the building design, quiet reading room, separate children's storytime room and drive-up book drop.

The 34,172 square foot building has seven Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) self-check units, making a trip to the library quick, easy, private and efficient. The technology offered by only a few other Colorado libraries, secures the entire collection and automates check-in and check-out of materials.
