The limited ban on evictions in Florida has been extended until October 1, 2020 by the governor.

There is an eviction ban in place in Florida until September 1, 2020, but those who have been impacted must prove that they'e fallen behind on payments due to the pandemic. The wording of the executive order states that nonpayment of rent must be from a tenant "adversely affected by the COVID-19 emergency" which includes job loss or loss of wages.

The ban on residential evictions in Florida will remain in place through August 1, 2020.

The governor has temporarily halted residential evictions in Florida. Work with your landlord to make an arrangement for rent payments or, if necessary, contact the housing agency in Palm Beach, or nearby, for resources that may be able to assist with rent payments.
