As these businesses were forced to temporarily close during the height of the pandemic, some will continue to suffer great financial strain. Continue to support local businesses in your community by visiting restaurants for dining or takeout, buying gift cards for local businesses such as hair salons and barber shops, or donating any extra funds you have if you are financially stable enough to do so.

• If restaurants in your area are offering takeout and delivery, order a meal.
• When you do buy from those restaurants, tip those service workers well if you are able.

• Buy gift cards to local businesses such as restaurants and hair salons so you can use them at a later date.
