Question Mark
If my landlord is trying to evict me in Oregon, will that process move forward?
Oregon passed House Bill 4213 which "prohibits residential and commercial evictions under specified conditions during emergency period." Evictions will not proceed in the state until at least September.

The moratorium on evictions in Oregon will be in effect until at least June 30, 2020 in Oregon.

Not currently. There is a moratorium on evictions until approximately July 1, 2020 in Oregon, but you are still required to pay rent if you can. If you are unable to do so, contact your landlord and attempt to make arrangements. A housing office that serves Keno or your county may have access to additional resources for rent assistance.

For more information, locate your Keno, OR area Housing Authority on the Oregon HUD website.
