If my landlord is trying to evict me in Maryland, will that process move forward?

As long as the state of emergency is in place in Maryland, evictions will not move forward

The Maryland judiciary has halted evictions in the state indefinitely. You should use this opportunity to communicate with your landlord to try and make arrangements if you are unable to pay your rent for a COVID-19-related reason. The housing office that serves Hurlock, or your community, may be able to direct you toward resources that can help with your rent.

For more information, locate your Hurlock, MD area Housing Authority on the Maryland HUD website.
