Question Mark
Can I get COVID-19 from eating contaminated food?
The FDA has reported that so far, there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 through contaminated food. Aside from cleaning your produce as you normally would, there is not much to be concerned about regarding the virus' transmission through food. If a sick person did cough or sneeze directly on the food you are consuming, then you would be at higher risk of contracting it.
