The ban on evictions in Louisiana was lifted on June 15, 2020, and can move forward as court capacity will allow.

Courts have suspended non-essential actions, which covers most evictions, in Louisiana, and state and local governments have also barred certain evictions while the stay at home order is in place. Unless it is extended, though, proceeding could go forward as early as May 4, 2020.
